- Book Cover, Title, Series, and Author
- Main Offense is for the primary sin, the one fatal flaw that made you roll your eyes or chuck the book across the room in disappointment. A few examples are: Bad Writing, Pacing Too Slow, Plot Holes, Magic System Makes No Sense, etc.
- Other Crimes are for everything else that piled on and sealed the book’s fate. Continuity Errors, Info Dumping, Overused Tropes, Telling Instead of Showing, etc. Death by a thousand paper cuts. 💡 Want to add your own offenses? There’s a quick how-to in the Help tab of the tracker.
- Genre for the statistics at the top of the page to tell you which genre you quit most.
- Quit Date to record the exact day that made you finally give up.
- Pages Reached to write in how far along you made it.
- Total Pages to write in and get an auto-calulated percentage of just how quickly you gave up.
