I think the most important lesson this spreadsheet taught me is that I'm not as unhinged a reader/book collector as I thought. Relief. But it also made me realize that I still have some wiggle room to become the unhinged self of my dreams. Ecstasy. Do I care if I'm judged for spending an afternoon manually entering all the books on my TBR (hundreds deep!) when an app (gross) could do it for me? Instead of reading? No, I do not. This is important work. And the spreadsheet is beautiful. It makes all this hard work that much more pleasing. I love the challenges and being shamed by my book budget. The only thing I don't vibe with is the series tracker, and that's only because I don't read many of those. So the tab sits there, judging me in a way the creators probably didn't intend. C'est la vie.

If you can click a checkbox, you’re basically an Overbooked power user. Everything’s already set up. Just open, take a deep breath, and start logging.

Will it work on my device?

It works on desktops, laptops, tablets, and technically your phone — but please don’t. We beg you. It technically opens on mobile, but it’s a spreadsheet, not a miracle. Use a real screen. Like an adult. Also, don’t try to use it in Excel. We don’t speak that language here.
